EVENT BRANDING
THE WEDDING OF DANIEL & EMMA

THE INVITATION
THE DESIGN OF THE INVITATION ITSELF IS MEAN TO REFLECT THE LOCATION OF THE EVENT, THE JOSLYN CASTLE. THE SHAPE ON THE FRONT SIDE OF THE INVITATION MIMICS THE ARCHITECTURE OF THE CASTLE, WHILE THE FLORAL MOTIF SIGNIFIES THE GARDENS IN WHICH THIS OUTDOOR WEDDING WAS HELD.
THE D & E LOGO IS USED ACROSS THE ENTIRETY OF THE EVENT, FROM WEBSITE, INVITATION (BACK), TO THE WAX SEAL ENCLOSING THE INVITATION.
THE ADDITIONAL “PACKAGING” OF THE INVITATION CREATED AN EXPERIENCE FOR THE PERSON OPENING THE INVITATION. THE INVITATION ITSELF WAS ENCLOSED IN A FLORAL PRINTED GATEFOLD GLASSINE SLIP, ALLOWING THE INVITATION TO BE EXPOSED THROUGH THE GLASSINE. IT WAS THEN BOUND TOGETHER BY A RIBBON ACTING AS A BELLYBAND, AND SEALED WITH A WAX “D&E” SEAL.
FURTHERMORE, THE INVITATION WAS ENCLOSED IN AN ENVELOPE LINED WITH GOLD,
PRINTED ON THE FRONT AND BACK, AND SEALED AGAIN WITH THE WAX “D&E” SEAL.
THE PARTY
BOTTLED COCKTAILS FOR JAZZ COCKTAIL HOUR. I DESIGNED AND SCREEN PRINTED THESE LABELS AND COATED WITH A FOOD SAFE SPRAY TO ENSURE THE LABEL’S WATER PROOFING. IN ADDITIONAL I DESIGNED THE BOTTLE OPENER FOR A LITTLE PARTY FAVOR.
CIGAR BAR IN THE GARDEN. DURING THE RECEPTION, THE COUPLE WANTED A CIGAR BAR, SO I CREATED CUSTOM CIGAR BANDS AND CUSTOM MATCHBOXES WITH A DEBOSSED GOLD FOIL LOGO.
